Overview
North of Lyon, you will take the Beaujolais Wine Route to join a family estate. You will discover the work of the winemaker, the specificities of the Beaujolais terroir, unique in the world. At the heart of the region of the crus, all the aromatic richness of Gamay that will be offered to you. After having presented his profession, the winemaker will make you taste several of his wines.
Free lunch in the center of Macon.
In the afternoon, head to southern Burgundy, known for its unique Chardonnays and iconic appellations such as Pouilly-Fuissé or Saint-Véran. You will then discover the majestic Château de Pierreclos, a medieval jewel located in the heart of the vineyards: armory, dungeon, kitchen, bakery, etc. and of course at the end of the tour a wine tasting of the estate awaits you! Then to finish, you will join a family estate where you will meet a Burgundian winemaker who will open the doors of his estate and make you taste his production.
