Situated on the Albanian Riviera, Vlora is well known for some of the most beautiful beaches and crystal-clear waters in Albania and in the Mediterranean. The city is gifted with natural attractions, the main ones being Karaburun Peninsula and Sazan Island. Karaburun Peninsula is known for its pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters where you can swim, sunbathe, and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Sazan Island, which is located a few kilometers off the coast of Vlora, was a military base during the communist era, but today it is a protected nature reserve.

What To Expect
Sazan Island
Travel back in time while discovering Sazan Island. The guide will walk you through the island, which is only opened to public in recent years, where you will learn about the history of how the island was used during communism era. The views from the top are fantastic, and those less interested in history can still choose to wait at the beach and its crystal clear waters.
