Overview
You will make a tour on one of the most beautiful canalboats of Amsterdam. It is fully electric so very quiet. There are maximum 10 persons on board. You will meeete other travellers from all over the world. The boat is open so perfect for taking pictures. You can board on various days on various times at the Oosterdok (located 200 meters East of Central Station) in front of the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel. After some instructions we will sail off. You will get a guided tour in English and/or German in which you will get a detailed explanation of all attractions we will pass by. You will be informed about the history, the present and the future of the city and all the challenges and opportunities that the city is faced with. There is enough time to speak to your fellow travellers or meet others and to take pictures. After about one hour and fifteen minutes you will be dropped off at the same point we left. You will have had a unique local experience that will last in your memory.

Meeting point
The meeting point is the jetty in front of the Hilton Doubletree Hotel. Walk towards the floating Chinese restaurant (Sea Palace). Once you stand in front of the entrance walk towards the right on the jetty. Most of the time the Orion will be parked towards the end of the Jetty.

We will be touring the oldest canal of Amsterdam, the Herengracht. We will be passing by several historic canal houses, the seven bridges, the Mayors residence and the archive buildings amongst others.

We will pass through the red light district and see the most historic part of the city and the former city hall.

We will be passing over the historic Prinsengracht and see the photomuseum Foam and many historic canal houses.

We will be touring on the main river of Amsterdam, the Amstel river. We will bass by the blue bridge, the skinny bridge, and the city hall amongst others.
