Canoeing is undoubtedly the best outdoor activity to experience the beautiful reflections of the never-ending sunset colours in the peaceful waters while enjoying some gentle exercise surrounded by beautiful Arctic nature. The Rovaniemi area is full of stress-free rivers that are easy to navigate, with picturesque nature and landscapes to observe. The open view offered by the river is also perfect to enjoy the the warm shades of the sun’s rays, and their reflections in the waters, making this canoe experience the best way to enjoy the Midnight Sun or sunsets in Rovaniemi!
During the tour, you will enjoy paddling your own canoe on a quiet rivers, moving slowly between islands or stopping by to some hidden sand beaches. In summertime, you will be surprised by the temperature of the water as it is always warmed all day (and all “night”) long by the sun ; if you would like to, you may even take some time to have a memorable swim in the river!
