Overview
The Château du Petit Thouars has been in the same family since 1636.
Enjoy an interesting and informative vineyard and cellar tour followed by a view of the ground floor of the château and then a full wine tasting paired with artisanal local products, which takes place in the dining room of the château.

Enter through the black front gates, drive up the path and park directly beside the château. Walk past the château, into the inner courtyard and you will find our office under the arches of the building across.

What To Expect
Travellers will discover the history of the Chateau du Petit Thouars
Visit Cabernet Franc and Chenin blanc wines and learn about French vineyard practices and the Chinon terroir
Visit an historic troglodyte cave and learn about our winemaking techniques
After a view of the ground floor rooms of the castle, taste the range of wines paired with delicious local specialties, in the dining room of the château.
