Overview
There will be over 4000 people, and it will be spectacular when everyone release the sky lanterns to the sky together.
The CAD organizer will arrange for meeting point pick-up and drop off during the event. There are various Thai cuisine and drinks available.
We are a long-term cooperative agent of Chiang Mai CAD and a reliable ticket source. You will get your e-ticket with QR code very soon. We will confirm your booking and immediately issue your ticket.
Schedule: From 15:30, the free shuttle departs from meeting point. During 16:30-18:30, guests will arrive at the venue, register ticket at entrance, and enjoy local performance. From 18:30 to 19:30 E, you can enjoy Lanna buffet dinner. From 19:30, you can enter to the ritual area and the ceremony began. When time goes to 20:15, everyone Lanch Lanterns together. The activity will end at around 20.45, the free shuttle will transfer you back to our meeting point.

Yi Peng and Loy Krathong (Lantern Festival)
The CAD Sky Lantern Festival in2024 falls on November 15th and 16th. There will be more than 4000 seats each day. The romantic sky lantern festival scene is a spectacular sight. There are various Thai cuisine and drinks available, you can enjoy buffet dinner. The containers for food are made of natural materials and are environmentally friendly. There will be various local folk performances, you can feel the ethnic cultural atmosphere of Northern Thailand. Two sky lanterns will be placed on each seat, and the staff will teach you how to release the lanterns to pray and make wishes. All participants will release sky lanterns at the same time, creating an unforgettable night together.

- Children under 8 years old are ticket-free. They can have dinner with their parents. No additional lanterns or souvenirs are provided.
- Participants are advised to wear Lanna Thai clothing or ceremonial attire, such as long pants/knee length shorts/T-shirts covering the shoulders.
- We provide booking services of tickets for the CAD Yi Peng Lantern Festival. The specific travel services and operations will be provided by the organizer. The final interpretation of the event belongs to the organizer.

O festival de lanternas foi maravilhoso! Eu estava com receio de comprar pelo Viator, mas deu tudo certo, tudo conforme descrito. Logo após a compra você já recebe uma mensagem com o link para baixar os ingressos ( os ingressos vem no seu nome) e um texto sobre pontos de encontro e check-in no evento. É uma experiência imperdível em Chiang Mai.

I would have rated this a one if the sky lantern had not been as great. When I bought the ticket, there was only ONE price option. I picked the pickup location at a shopping center. I then received a confirmation that included a hotel with the word “Elite” in front with shopping center pickup location. As there was only one price option, it’s logical to conclude that the price included the shopping center pickup location. The local tour operator messaged that I only had one pickup location at More Space. Hundreds of ticket holders had to wait for ancient buses without any air conditioning under the burning sun for hours to get on an ancient bus and travelled in it for more than two hours to the site. No real line to get on the ancient buses! If you plan to go, get either VIP or premium ticket. The tickets are no refundable so don’t expect any service and expect rudeness!

We understand that the long wait and the uncomfortable travel conditions were far from the experience you expected, and we sincerely apologize for this. There were long queues everywhere, i had waited for 3 hours just to get transfer even after being on time that is 3:30. When we reached they said the food is over. We hadn’t even had lunch. There is no internet connection there, in the voucher that is received it was written that i can receive my entry ticket at the redemption but without internet they were not able to access my name on their ticket management system. This process again took 20 mins.

The pick up time start from 15:30. Shuttle leaves every 5-10 minutes as CAD arranged. We understand that waiting for 3 hours to get transferred is extremely frustrating, especially when you were punctual. We will feedback to CAD organizer to make this part better next year. We also regret to hear that the food was not available upon your arrival. Ensuring that our guests are well-catered for is a priority, and we will be speaking with CAD organizer to ensure that there are sufficient provisions for all guests, regardless of their arrival time. Regarding the issue with the internet connection and the ticket redemption process, we acknowledge the inconvenience this caused. The venue is far from Chiangmai city which internet would be poor. Fortunately, you were able to successfully register and enter the venue, without missing out on the grand sky lanterns event. Although we are only an agent selling official tickets, we are equally concerned about your experience at the event venue. We will communicate with the event organizer to improve your feedback, so that all guests who go to Chiang Mai to participate in the Lantern Festival can have a wonderful experience!
