This excursion is called "Chocoserrano" since this is one of the products derived from cocoa that you can find in the place. It is a 100% organic and artisan table chocolate, enriched with natural aromas that recreate the flavors of the Sierra on the palate.
There you will be able to enjoy the plantations and the subsequent transformation of the raw material, led by local women and always accompanied by suitable personnel who will immerse you in this wonderful world called "cocoa".
You can also find products such as cocoa mix, granola, nougat, brownie and chocolate bread, made in the territory by peasant families.
This cocoa is highly beneficial for health, it is a unique cocoa in the world for its low content of cadmium, a metal considered toxic and polluting.

What To Expect
We leave Santa Marta at 6:00 a.m., until we reach the path "La Aguacatera", where we will start the horseback riding or hiking. At 9:00 a.m., we will be arriving at a rural restaurant with vegetarian food, where the traveler will be able to choose a delicious and healthy breakfast from among the available options. At 10:00 am. We start hiking or horseback riding to a permitted place, before entering the farm called "Chocoserrano" where we will begin an experience through the cocoa plantations. There you can enjoy the various products derived from cocoa that are offered there. At 1:00 p.m. We will have a typical lunch of the region at the cocoa farm. At 2:00 p.m. We will move towards some beautiful waterfalls of approximately 6 meters high, where you can immerse yourself in its waters and enjoy the place. (Due to variations in the water level, these visits are made according to the time of year). At 4:00 pm. return to Santa Marta.
