Enjoy and Experience Tasmanian Wilderness on five out of five days. Overnight inside Cradle Mountain National Park for two nights, where the start of the hiking trail for Hero Hike #1 is at the front door. Wildlife, sunrise and sunsets, dark skies, waterfalls, fantastic trails suitable for all abilities and minimal road travel time are standout features of our Small Group Wilderness Adventure.
Hero Hike #2 is 16km along the full length of Lake Saint Clair - a beautiful wilderness trail. After the 30minute ferry ride to Narcissus Hut, take an hour to self explore this very remote place, the final stages of the Overland Track. We then walk back to Cynthia Bay, a Grade 3 trail, muddy in sections, heavily forested, primal, wilderness, scenic.
Inclusions of Devils @ Cradle, Gordon River Wilderness Cruise and Ferry across the full length of Lake Saint Clair make for a wonderful 5 days designed to connect you with the very best of Tasmania's wild side. Multiple natural highs guaranteed.

Devils @ Cradle
A world class wildlife conservation facility at Tasmania’s premier wilderness destination. Visitors to the sanctuary can view these animals from the comfort of the visitor centre, wander through the sanctuary at their leisure, or join a personalised guided tour which ensures a close up encounter with our animals. Your visit will provide an insight into the daily operation of a working conservation facility for one of the world’s iconic animals, knowing your ticket fee is contributing to our conservation of these species.

An early start to go as far as we can as a group and individually as well. Climb to the Summit of Cradle Mountain. Take the chance to hike even further towards the Cradle Cirque overlooking Waterfall Valley, returning via Lake Rodway Track and Twisted Lakes. An epic Grade 4 day hike that is even bigger than day #1 of the Overland Track, allowing you to fully experience some of the very best sub-alpine wilderness in the world with just a day pack.

The environment around Lake St Clair is among Tasmania's most spectacular. Deep glacial lakes are fringed by dense forests of ancient pines, and the high mountains provide a dramatic backdrop.
