For those seeking a talisman, I can return you to the heart of wizarding commerce in Edinburgh, essentially our ‘Diagon’.
The tour ENDS at City Chambers, opposite St Giles Cathedral & the Octagonal Mercat cross, besides Mary Kings Close. 5 minutes walk uphill to the Castle, 4 minutes down steps to Waverley station. If you’re worried about missing your train, ‘EVANESCO WORRY!’, I can take you there.

Late lunch! If it's open. Around £15 per person will be required. If it's closed we'll go elsewhere. This is optional, the tour can be done without lunch, you could bring a packed lunch or buy sandwiches en-route to eat on the go. But this would omit the seated lunch activities.

- There is a good amount of steps. People say it is a good workout. Wear comfortable waterproof shoes
- It can be very cold, bring a hat & gloves & check the weather for rain
- 8 hours is a long time so BREAKFAST. Think everybody’s favourite Gameskeeper: if your feet haven’t swollen to baby Dolphins - keep shovelling!
- For an all-day private tour the price is relatively keen, ½ of some. Lunch, maybe a tip, are MOST appreciated.
- At least 1 person needs to have read all the books, or your Wizard will despair
