In the splendid setting of Trastevere, the famous food district of Rome, in one of the most historic restaurant in Rome, managed by our family for four generations, the most authentic cooking experience that you can have in the Eternal City awaits you.
At the end of the cooking class we will all sit together to taste your creations accompanied by some good wine!
After booking, write to our office and decide which of the three cooking classes described below you prefer
1. FRESH PASTA
MENU: Homemade fettuccine with amatriciana sauce, tiramisu, organic white and red wine from the Castelli Romani.
2. SALTIMBOCCA & ARTICHOKES
MENU: Roman-style Saltimbocca, Roman-style artichokes, Roman-style ricotta pie, organic white and red wine from the Castelli Romani.
3. STUFFED PASTA
MENU: Ricotta and spinach tortelli with butter and sage, mascarpone and black cherry cream, organic white and red wine from Castelli Romani.
You can request our office a private transfer from your hotel or Airbnb.
You will meet the staff of the famous historic Rome restaurant Checco Er Carrettiere who are waiting for you for the start of your unique experience. If you wish, you can ask our office to book a private car for the transfer from your hotel to the restaurant.

FRESH PASTA COOKING CLASS (2,5 hours) MENU: Homemade fettuccine with amatriciana sauce, tiramisu, organic white and red wine from the Castelli Romani. COURSE DESCRIPTION: We will start with the preparation of Tiramisu. from the wet coffee base to the cream with egg and mascarpone, once placed in the fridge to rest we will continue with the fettuccine dough strictly cut into hand, erect and fleshy as Roman tradition requires. Once the fettuccine is finished, we will prepare our amatriciana sauce with bacon, tomato and pecorino or if there are vegetarians or vegans, sauce with tomato and basil

SALTIMBOCCA & ARTICHOKES (2,5 hours) MENU: Roman-style Saltimbocca, Roman-style artichokes, Roman-style ricotta pie, organic white and red wine from the Castelli Romani. COURSE DESCRIPTION: We will start with the preparation of the base and the ricotta cream for the cake. Once the dessert has been placed in the fridge to rest, we will proceed with cleaning and cooking the artichoke. Having put the artichokes on the fire, we will continue with the preparation of our saltimbocca, veal with sage and raw ham floured and cooked in a pan with a touch of white wine. As soon as the saltimbocca are ready, we will all eat what we have prepared together.

STUFFED PASTA (2,5 hours) MENU: Ricotta and spinach tortelli with butter and sage, mascarpone and black cherry cream, organic white and red wine from Castelli Romani. COURSE DESCRIPTION: We will start with the dough of the fresh pasta, once the dough is completed we will move on to the preparation of the mascarpone cream which will have to rest for about 30 minutes, we will continue with the preparation of the ricotta and spinach filling, we will roll out the dough and we will teach you how to close tortelli.
