Usually these tours are booked by single private groups but if more than two groups choose to book the same date, there may be up to total 5 persons on this tour.
This tour is delivered only by myself, Alasdair de Voil, the business owner of Visit Oxford Tours. However, for insurance purposes, these tours are actually booked to be conducted privately via myself as a self employed sole trader offering you a personal service. They are not delivered as a product delivered by Visit Oxford Tours Ltd. This legal distinction will be reconfirmed in writing whenever any booking is received.
Default itinerary is 10am to 5.30pm.
The Cotswolds is a scenic part of England located only 10 minutes by train from Oxford or only 70 minutes from London. It's my pleasure to share these sights & heritage with you on an active cycling tour.
Participants must be fit and aged 14+ as the Cotswolds roads are lots of up and down cycling but the scenery plus the villages here are beautiful.
What's Included
- This tour is run by the same business owner of Visit Oxford Tours but it's booked via a third party
- High performance ebike bicycle hire & helmet + high vis vest is included.
- Cost of any transport to get to meet point is not included
- Lunch or drink stops will be scheduled during the day and flexible where we will stop according to you. However, food and drink is not included in your ticket.
- Please bring waterproofs & sun glasses (due to insects or dust)!
Meeting And Pickup
Meeting point
Meet me either at designated meeting point given or alternatively meet me OUTSIDE Hanborough train station. Hanborough is 10 minutes by train from Oxford or 70 minutes by train from London Paddington station. I will send you details of train times to get to meet us.

Swinbrook
Swinbrook is just one of several gorgeous villages or hamlets which we pass through. The default pub stop for lunch is also typically here too.

I will introduce the Roman history of the region when we visit the ruins of this large Roman farm.

Minster Lovell Hall & Dovecote
See the ruins of the medieval manor and also see the very picturesque village of Minster Lovell too. Lunch or drinks stop is also optional here too.

We will pass through and option to stop for WC or lunch or drink stops in various picturesque hamlets or villages.

Burford
Burford is known as, 'the gateway to the Cotswolds' and its main street is so historic that lots of different historic TV dramas have been filmed here. Another possible tea or lunch stop, Lots of cafes and tea shops here.

- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
