Our journey takes us along Eyjafjörður, one of Iceland’s longest fjords, to our first destination, the Goðafoss waterfall, which holds great significance in Iceland’s history.
Next, we will explore the beauty of Lake Mývatn, where we can appreciate stunning sights such as Skútustaðagígar, also known as pseudo craters. This unique phenomenon can only be found in a few places around the world, including Iceland, Hawaii, one in the Azores, and even on the planet Mars. Additionally, we will visit Dimmuborgir, an area of extraordinary lava formations. We will then proceed to the Hverir geothermal area, where many smoking fumaroles and boiling mud pots can be observed.
After Hverir, we will travel approximately 40 minutes to see Dettifoss, one of the most powerful waterfalls in Europe.
We will have the opportunity to visit the enchanting Grjótagjá cave to admire the hot blue river. The adventurous can even take a photo standing on two tectonic plates.
We will be waiting an a parking lot in front of the cruise terminal. It is easy to spot us, we are wearing jackets with our company logo or we will have prepared signs with your names.
This activity ends back at the meeting point.
Our first stop will be Goðafoss waterfall also known as waterfall of the Gods. Attraction is less than 5 minutes from a parking lot. There is also small shop and free toilet nearby.

This stop is called pseudo craters, b beautiful lava formations on the Myvatn lake. It is a unique place that can bee seen only on few places on earth. Attraction is next to the parking lot. Nearby is a small shop, visitor center and free toilets.

Beautiful and unique lava formations. This place was a lake in the past, before lava destroyed it. Now you can walk on the lake's bottom and enjoy lava formations. In this place we will do a small hike, but there is also option to stay in small restaurant/shop and enjoy the view from above. Toilet is free if you will buy something in restaurant.

Another unique place - a hot blue geothermal water running in the cave between two tectonic plates. It is possible to go inside the cave explore old geothermal baths. You can also stand between two tectonic plates: Eurasian and North American and see the big crack running along Icelandic country.

A place where the shallow groundwater that flows next to the Krafla volcano system is heated and rises to the surface. You can see steam vents, hot bubbling mud pots and lots of colourful mineral spots on the ground. There is a sulphurous smell in the area, similar to the smell of rotten eggs.

The most powerful waterfall in Europe by volume. You can feel it's full power in early summer when all the surrounding snow from the mountains is melting. At this place we will do a small hike from the car park. On the way we can also see another waterfall called Selfoss.

A short stop before the road back to Akureyri. You can see the Nature Myvatn Baths, use the free toilet and buy a snack in the shop.
