What To Expect
When crossing the bridge from Nyhavn, the first thing that comes into sight is a newly built residential complex, relax! Behind the corner awaits narrow houses with inclined roofs. Wait, have we popped over to Amsterdam?! No, it’s just the canals of Christianshavn, surrounded by colorful houses. We guess someone was inspired.
In Christianshavn our guide will tell you about the two Michelin star restaurant, the woman’s prison that used to lie here and the mix of the old and the new architecture of the area. All in all, hear the stories of why we so confidently call this area, Free Spirited Copenhagen. The tour ends on the doorstep of Christiania, the most free spirited place of them all.
