What To Expect
Visit Osaka, Japan’s famous culinary capital for a unique food adventure. Join Katsuji, a local expert with over 30 years of experience in the food industry. Learn the rich cultural heritage of Japan’s culinary world. Visit an authentic tearoom and experience a real tea ceremony in Katsuji’s own home.
Relax in ancient Japanese style as you learn the ins and outs of the ceremony while enjoying hand-whisked matcha green tea. Then head to the kitchen and learn to make two Japanese classics: sushi and ramen. Use nothing but the best ingredients to make your dishes from scratch. Enjoy the food then take home a cultural souvenir, custom hand-drawn calligraphy made by Katsuji himself.
Ramen will be prepared using ready-made noodles (noodles will not be made from scratch).
This class requires a minimum booking of 2 persons. Single travelers are kindly requested to purchase 2 slots.
