Urasoe is a neighboring city of Naha that is filled with historical sites dating all the way from the Gusuku period to WWII. As you weave your way across the city between past and present, you'll encounter ancient stone walls of fortresses, tombs of Ryukyu kings long gone, and even a significant WWII battlefield featured in the movie, Hacksaw Ridge. This tour allows you to feel closer to these real-life events in a physical and personal way while riding an E-bike.

Once upon a time, this area was a place where pine trees grew thick, home to a monster that tricked people passing by and caused trouble for the villagers. It is said that over 470 years ago, a monk in training buried a pebble on which he had written a sutra to exterminate the monster. It is now said to have the power to suppress earthquakes and lightning.
