Located in the vibrant region of Santa Cruz, Costa Rica, Huacas Junction marks the beginning of your adventure. Whether you prefer to be picked up here or at another location of your choice, we are flexible and ready to accommodate your needs to ensure a smooth start to your journey. The indicated travel time of 2.5 hours refers to the duration of the transfer from Guanacaste to Arenal.

Arenal Hanging Bridges
Second Stop: Rainforest Hike and Sky Walk Our adventure continues with a three-hour stop for a hike in the lush tropical rainforest, a paradise of rich and abundant nature. This experience offers stunning views of the Arenal Volcano, a warm and inviting atmosphere, beautiful and safe facilities, and opportunities to observe diverse tropical flora and fauna. There is also a delightful restaurant on-site where you can purchase snacks or refreshments if desired. The highlight of this stop is the exhilarating experience of walking on hanging bridges, known as the Sky Walk. These bridges, suspended between the canopies of towering trees, allow you to explore the rainforest from a unique perspective, high up in the treetops. La Fortuna de San Carlos
Third Stop: La Fortuna, San Carlos Our cultural exploration takes us to the vibrant town of La Fortuna, San Carlos. Take in the sights of the central park and the local Catholic church, and enjoy a stop to browse various souvenir shops for unique keepsakes. The highlight of this stop is our lunch break, where we'll savor a delicious traditional Costa Rican meal known as "casado." This hearty dish typically includes rice, black beans, salad, sweet plantains, a vegetable hash (picadillo), traditional Costa Rican white cheese, and a choice of protein—fish, chicken, beef, or pork. Fourth Stop: Ecotermales Hot Springs Our adventure continues with a visit to Ecotermales, a stunning natural hot springs retreat surrounded by lush tropical nature. This beautiful setting provides the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. We'll spend over an hour here, allowing you to unwind and soak in the rejuvenating hot springs. Return Journey After an exciting day filled with nature, relaxation, and delicious Costa Rican cuisine, we'll begin our return journey to your pick-up location.
