Asahiyama Zoo is in the northernmost part of Japan, and is one of the most popular zoos in Japan. Learn all about the animals that live there, and the zoo's efforts to preserve their natural habitats. Observe the lovely creatures and get a chance to interact with them, too! If you go in the winter, get a chance to enjoy the penguin show—one of Hokkaido's highlights.

Watch as the water gushing from the ground constantly beats the rocks, and marvel at nature's power!
