What To Expect
If you want a day trip to Edinburgh and want to visit some of the city's top attractions, then join us, our trips allow you to visit Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, the Edinburgh Dungeon, Arthur's Seat, and St Giles Cathedral:
This is a long trip and will last about 16-18 hours including travel time.
Pick up time will be 6.30am and expect to be in Edinburgh by 11am. Once there we expect to stay there until 8.30pm and head back to Manchester around 1.30am.
When we arrive you can make your own way around Edinburgh City. Our team members will be around the city, Please bare in mind our team members are not tour guides and will only be there to assist you during your time. They are familiar with Edinburgh and will be able to guide you to places of interest.
We recommend to check the opening hours and entry requirements for each attraction before your visit. Tickets to Attractions are NOT included and should be booked in advance as they will be cheaper and save you queuing on he day.
Things to do and explore....
Edinburgh Castle, a historic fortress that sits atop Castle Rock, offering stunning views of the city. Explore the castle's various attractions, including the Crown Jewels, the Great Hall, and the Stone of Destiny.
After visiting the castle, take a stroll along the Royal Mile, a famous street that stretches from the castle to the Palace of Holyrood house. Along the way, you'll find shops, restaurants, historic buildings, and interesting landmarks to explore.
St Giles Cathedral located on the Royal Mile. This stunning Gothic cathedral dates back to the 14th century and features beautiful stained glass windows, intricate architecture, and a rich history.
Edinburgh Dungeon: To delve into the darker side of Edinburgh's history, make a stop at the Edinburgh Dungeon. Experience interactive shows and exhibits that bring to life the city's gruesome past, including tales of the plague, witch trials, and more.
Arthur's Seat: After immersing yourself in history at the dungeon, head to Holyrood Park to climb Arthur's Seat. This ancient volcano offers panoramic views of the city and is a great spot for a hike or a leisurely walk in nature.
This is a full action packed day, please bring a comfortable footwear and some warm clothing as the weather can be cold and wet.
To finish the night off we will be offering Free Ghost tour about Edinburgh's eerie history.
Tickets are NOT included to Attractions, please check prices online before booking as they will be cheaper in advance.
