Does sailing on a sailboat intrigue you? Do you want to discover the life of a yachtsman around one of the most beautiful islands in Polynesia? We offer you a unique excursion: Embark on Mori Ora, a 47-foot sailboat to discover navigation on a habitable sailboat in the Pacific Ocean. Maneuver the Mori Ora yourself: hoist the sails, steer the ship and hold its course, change tack, learn nautical knots, etc.

Meeting And Pickup
Meeting point
The meeting point is at the small Opunohu marina: Moorea Yacht Club, at pk17.2. If you are coming from the Hilton hotel, you will find kilometer marker 17 on the mountain side just before arriving at the marina. There is a small parking lot on the lagoon side where you can park.
End Point
This activity ends back at the meeting point.
What To Expect
Discover navigation on the Mori Ora habitable sailboat, and succumb to the charms of the ocean. Hoist the sails, steer the Mori Ora, change tack.
Sailing trip:
- in the morning (8h-12h): Come sail Mori Ora in the middle of the day and be captivated by the contrast of the verdant green of the peaks of Moorea with the deep and wild royal blue of the ocean.
- sunset (3 p.m.-sunset): Come sail Mori Ora in the light of the Polynesian sunset. Enjoy its warm ocean and island gradients while sipping on a delicious cocktail.
If nature is there, we can observe underwater wonders: dolphins, whales, hunting seabirds, etc.

- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
