Discover Nepal via Culture Mountains and Jungle

After passing through immigration at Tribhuwan International Airport and collecting your baggage. You can find our airport representative waiting for you outside the airport. You will be taken to the vehicle that has been sent for you which shall take you to your hotel in Kathmandu. According to the time of you arrival, you might have time to discover the surrounding area or some of the heritage sites that are situated around. Also possible to head to the spa to lose you flight fatigue.

Kathmandu Durbar Square

After breakfast, your guide will meet you at the hotel and we shall head to Kathmandu Durbar Square. We shall visit the temple of the living goddess – Kumari and many other temples and monuments that form a cluster in this area.

Swayambhunath Temple

After this, we shall head to the monkey temple which is situated on a hilltop and you can have a birds-eye view of the city of Kathmandu from here.

Patan Durbar Square

Then we drive to Patan which is another part of the Kathmandu valley which is famous for it’s arts. You can find numerous idol shops and craftsmen here in small alleys getting about their crafts.

Pashupatinath Temple

Today we shall head to Pashupathinath which is the most important Hindu Temple in Nepal. Also known as the Vanaras of Nepal, we can also see from across the Bagmati river the temple of Lord Shiva and how cremation takes place according to the Hindu ritual.

Boudhanath Stupa

Then we shall head to Boudhanath which is a stupa with an ambiance of it’s own. As we circle the stupa you can see the many merchants selling different souvenirs and Tibetan crafts.

Bhaktapur Durbar Square

We then drive to Bhaktapur, the most preserved Durbar Square. Here we shall visit Durbar Square, 5 storeyed temple of Natapolo, and the alleys that have a vibe of their own.

Nagarkot

To end the day we shall head to Nagarkot which is situated on the rim of the Kathmandu valley from where views of the mountain chain are spectacular on a day with clear weather.

Nagarkot to Dhulikhel Hiking

On this day, we have the option to hike or drive to Dhulikhel. If we hike we pass through terraced fields and sparsely populated villages on the way and small forests. Upon reaching Dhulikhel we shall check in to our hotel. It’s also possible to visit the old town of Banepa in the afternoon.

Namobuddha

After enjoying a panoramic sunrise view of the mountains early morning. We head to Namo Buddha. On this day too is possible to drive directly to Namo Buddha or take a slow hike. Parts of the route where it’s not possible to hike due to the dusty road we shall be getting into our vehicles. Upon reaching Namo Buddha we can make a small tour around this monastery that this place is famous for.

Namo Buddha (Stupa)

After reaching Namo Buddha and checking into our hotel, the guide will take you to the monastery of Namo Buddha to discover the monastery and see the way of life of the monks living there.

Panauti

Today we head to Panauti. We go through village roads passing by small villages on the way. Most of the route is quite calm and filled with paddy fields. After around 4 to 5hrs of walking, we shall reach Panauti. Panauti is an ancient Newari village and is quite sparsely populated as many of the people from here travel to the city for education and work. The temple of Indreshwor is one of the major highlight of this ancient town. We shall take a walk around the heritage-filled alleys and streets after which our transfer shall pick us up and transfer us to Kathmandu.

Phewa Tal (Fewa Lake)

The 2nd largest city of Nepal- Pokhara which lies in the footsteps of the mighty Annapurna is around 200kms from Kathmandu. After driving around 6hrs we will reach our destination upon which we check in and freshen up. We can walk around the lake of Phewa in the evening to enjoy the sunset.

Sarangkot

Early morning we drive to Sarangkot so that we don’t miss the sunrise over the Annapurna chain, Dhaulagiri and Mansalu. Also get a bird's eye view of the Phewa Lake and Pokhara from this hill top which is spectacular and breath taking.

World Peace Stupa

After breakfast, we shall head to the Peace Stupa. The World Peace Stupa in Pokhara is among the 80 peace stupa around the world and 2 that has been built in Nepal.

Chitwan National Park

South of Pokhara is the Jungle of Chitwan. The road is around 5hrs long. Upon arrival, we shall be met by the hotel staff and briefed about our program. It’s possible to do canoeing, jeep safari, jungle walk, and many others to choose from.

Jeep safari in the jungle or on a canoeing trip on a wooden boat. Some sites to visit today would be the Elephant sanctuary or the crocodile sanctuary. In the afternoon we can either go cycling in the village or bird watching according to your interest.

Thamel

Today we catch our flight back to Kathmandu which lasts around 30 minutes. Upon arrival, we can check in at our hotel and then leave for some souvenir shopping. Thamel where our hotel is located is very well known for it's numerous handicraft shops that cater to all your souvenir needs.
