What To Expect
On the Taufarii motu, a theoretical and fun part will take place about the making of a pearl and pearl farming. Then visitors will be taken by boat near a coral garden for some snorkeling, to discover strings of oysters in their natural environment. The oysters are immersed at a depth of 1 meter, and with the team, visitors will be able to browse the lines of oysters, and choose their own oyster which will be opened once on the surface. Back on the Taufarii motu, the pearl harvest is done under the gaze of visitors, by the on-site team. Then a photo session closes the activity, and each visitor will leave with their pearl that they have collected. Finally, each visitor will be returned to the original meeting point.
