What To Expect
Torrita Tiberina
A short and smooth 4 kilometers (2,5 miles) climb on a quiet asphalted road surrounded by trees will take us to Torrita Tiberina. This quaint village is our first stop. We will enter the castel alleys to discover the hidden corners that open the view over the majestic valley of River Tiber.

Nazzano
Ater cycling on a panoramica ridge we reach Nazzano. A very short climb takes us to a panoramic view that very few people know. Here I have prepeared a surprise for you, something that will truly connect you with our traditions. A glorious downhill will take us into the village and into the walls of the majest Savelli Castle, the very landmark of this part of Lazio.

Riserva Naturale Regionale Nazzano Tevere-Farfa
Still downhill we finally reach the main character of the valley: the river Tiber. We will cycle on a flat dirt road thourgh fields, ancient ruins and thick woods flowing along the mellow water of the river. We will follow the cycle path that runs into the Natural Reserve. This natural monument is the first regional reserve established in Italy, a paridise for migratory birds and local wild life. We will stop in one of the many birdwatching huts to silently spy on the wildlife and enjoy smooth flow of the Tiber river.
