Overview
A private RIB safari tour to the beautiful Maurangsfjord with steep mountain sides surrounded by Folgefonna.
From Rosendal via Ænes before driving into the Maurangsfjorden. This sidefjord is a magically beautiful arm of the fjord that has attracted tourists for hundreds of years. After visiting Furebergsfossen we arrive at Sundal with a view of Bondhusbreen. Return out of the fjord again and back to Rosendal via the island of Sild.

Your driver and guide will stop a few times to let the unique nature work its magic and to provide interesting facts about the fjord and the people who used to live on the fjord farms. With a little luck, even porpoises appear in the water.
There are several stops near land along the way to experience nature and life along the fjord. It is important to have a camera readily available.

What To Expect
Cruising along the Hardangerfjord section - Kvinnheradsfjorden. The Hardangerfjord is the second longest fjord in Norway and is titulated as the queen of the Norwegian fjords with lovely lanscapes of mountians, narrow branches and glaciers.

Maurangsfjorden is a fjord in Kvinnherad Municipality. The 12-kilometre (7.5 mi) long fjord is a small branch off of the main Hardangerfjord. The inner end of the Maurangsfjorden branches into the Nordrepollen and Austrepollen. There are several villages located along the fjord: Ænes, Sundal, Austrepollen, Nordrepollen, and Gjetingsdalen. In the fjord we stop by the Furebergfossen waterfall and outside the village of Sundal where we can spot the Bondhus glacier.

We cruise along this section the main Hardangerfjord on our way back to Rosendal. In this beautiul fjord lanscape we pass by tiny villages og salmin farms.
