Is a very much hands on cooking class and in this very private experience you will discover and enjoy the traditions of local cuisine, how italians cook for themselves and not for tourists, for this reason the class starts with a visit at the most famous and old local market of the city, to shop our fresh ingredients, before we go to enjoy the class in a private house.
You will learn difference between short and long pasta, when and why we use them and the different seasonings, gnocchi, pizza, also the difference between dry and fresh mozzarella, when to use one or the other. We are in the country of Basil, pesto sauce is made by basil, but not the common one, the ligurian one, very much different in size, color and parfume and this is only an idea of the amazing day you will experience!

I will meet my guest in Piazza Cavour, one of the eldest square of the city and the one where the local market is located. After a tour to learn about our local products and to shop our fresh ingredients for the class, we will reach a private house on the surrounding hills of La Spezia.
This is a very hand on cooking class, you will eat what you cook... and so do I.. so cross fingers!!!
The couse is composed by preparing an appetizer, main course, desert.
The appetizers may vary according to the season,
The main dishes can be changed from those I offer so, if you have a special request, please feel free to ask!
The desert is the famous tiramisu I offer two versions, the traditional or the lemon one.
Drink as water and local wine are included.
