What We Will Do
Duration 20 Minutes
We begin with a walk through the spectacular West View Eco Park, where you can meet a variety of exotic animals unique to the island, discover one of the two houses around the world made 80% coconut-based products and take in a show of the typical dances of San Andres Island.
Duration 60 Minutes
Following the Eco Park, enjoy a hands on lesson on how to prepare our most famous native food, Rondón. You will be taught using the traditional island techniques and ingredients. At noon you can enjoy this mouth watering dish. We assure you that you will enjoy it.
Duration 30 Minutes
We will move on to a live presentation of typical music where you can play typical instruments such as the horse jaw and others.

What To Expect
Te enseñaremos y serás parte de la preparación del Rondón, el plato típico de la isla de San Andrés y Providencia. Este plato se hace con leche de coco e incluye pescado fresco, rabo de cerdo o caracol de mar. También se añade fruta de pan, una fruta que crece en pocos lugares del mundo. Cocinaremos sobre leña y podrás ver y presenciar todo el proceso.
Ahora explicamos lo que harás paso a paso:
Comenzaremos con una cálida bienvenida donde disfrutarás de agua de coco fresca y te contaremos un poco sobre la historia de San Andrés y nuestra comida típica.
Inmediatamente después nos reuniremos con el chef para preparar nuestro plato típico sobre leña y podrás participar en el proceso de preparación junto al chef, lo cual incluye hacer dumplig, un tipo de arepa isleña, y añadir el pescado al caldero, entre otras cosas.
Después, tendremos un emocionante recorrido por el sector donde podrás conocer una cueva donde existe una sirena tallada y diversos árboles frutales diestros. Y en algunas ocasiones tendremos presentación de música en vivo con artistas locales.
Después prepárate para disfrutar nuestro delicioso plato típico de Rondón que ayudaste a preparar.
