After your visit to the Colosseum, you will access to Vatican's most famous galleries to see Laocoon, Apollo of Belvedere Torso of Belvedere and Nero's’ Bathtub. Many of those beautiful statues were used by Michelangelo as a model to represent the characters in the Last Judgement. Thanks to our knowledgeable and friendly guide you will learn about the Sistine Chapel and discover the talent of Michelangelo through his frescoes. This is a small group tour with an expert guide.

Sistine Chapel
The Sistine Chapel preserves the wonderful frescoes of Michelangelo painted in two different periods, the first one was under the Pope Julius II and he painted for him the Creation of the world from stories from the Genesis book; while the second time Michelangelo came back he was already 61 years old and in only 5 years he painted the Last Judgement for the Pope Paul III Farnese. You will be overwhelming by the beauty of these frescoes

Stanze di Raffaello
When Michelangelo was painting the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, Raphael was close by painting the apartment of the Pope Julius §II, today we call the Raphael Rooms. Among them there are the beautiful Parnassus with Homer, Apollo and the Muses and the School of Athens facing the Dispute over the Sacraments. Those rooms were one of the last works done by Raphael before he died.
