Overview
The Indian River lagoon is one of a few select places in the world where we are able to see this natural occurrence. A few steps from Orlando, in the heart of the Indian River you will experience first hand one of nature’s most dazzling displays. Come along with us as we paddle under the stars surrounded by billions of glowing and glittering dinoflagellates. With every stroke of your paddle, you will be amazed at the natural light show around you.
As we paddle along, we will be on the lookout for Comb Jellies! These gentle creatures are native to the lagoon and ignite when something bumps into them. Equipped with nets we are able to gently scoop up these gentle jellies and get a close up view of them as they light up the night.

What To Expect
Explore Florida's only bioluminescent lagoon on a guided paddle expedition with A Paddle in Paridise! Embark on a mesmerizing journey through the enchanting waters of the Indian River Lagoon, just a stone's throw away from Orlando. Experience the spectacular display of bioluminescent dinoflagellates, one of nature's most captivating phenomena. As you Paddle along, immerse yourself in the ethereal glow surrounding you, created by billions of tiny organisms illuminating the darkened expanse.
On this excursion you will witness the magic of bioluminesence as the water around you ignites with color as you paddle along! Guests can choose between a traditional Stand Up Paddle Board, or a Kayak Mod. Photos are included with every tour! apaddleinparadise dot com

- Suitable for all physical fitness levels
- For all amendments, please contact us directly before making any amendments to ensure availability for your selected time. in the event an amendment is made without contacting us directly, we may not be able to accomadate your change, and we will not have space for you to participate.
- It is the guests responsabilty to provide adaquite and up to date contact info in case changes or updates to your tour, if using an international number and we cannot get ahold of you with location changes or cancelations refunds will not be provided. We are not able to call internatinal numbers, updates will be sent via viator messege center. Updates on weather and potential location changes will be sent via the messenger app. Please be sure to check these messages the day of your tour.
- Bioluminesence is a naturaly occuring phenomina. Periodicly we may change our launch site to provide the best visable bio for our guests. We launch out of Kiwanis island park and parish park, In the event of a loction change you will be notified via phone and the messenger center at minimum of 6 hours of your scheduled departure time. (both loctions are within 20 minutes of each other) We are unable to call international numbers, if you use an international number we are only able to notify you via the messneger center, refunds will not be given for going to the wrong loction if you do not check you messege center via viator.
- This event is rain or shine. As long as no thunder, Lightning, or heavy winds in the area and conditions are safe the tours will commence
- In the event of severe weather we may go on a 30 minute weather hold. After 30 minutes if it is safe to go out we will start the excursion if not a refund will be provided.
- this activity is a physical activity and requires people to paddle and operate their own water craft
- Your ticket will have instructions to our daily updates page with the most current lanch site and weather conditions
- Our equipment has a max weight of 285lbs if you exceed this please contact us directly for acomadtions before booking

Cancellation Policy
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
- Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
