Otway Estate is a beautifully location in the picturesque Otway Ranges. We have an onsite brewery, distillery and cidery.
Visitors will benefit from insider knowledge shared by our expert distillers and gain hands-on experience blending their own unique gin recipe from a variety of botanicals.

What To Expect
Join us at Otway Estate for our unique Gin Blending Masterclasses, where you have an opportunity to create your very own gin!
Guests are welcomed with a brief introduction to Otway Estate and the Gin Blending Masterclass. We will outline the day's activities and give a brief introduction about the world of gin.
Discover the intricate process of gin making, including the role of botanicals and distillation. Introduction to a vast range of vapour-infused botanicals. Learn about their unique flavours and how they contribute to gin. Guided by expert distillers, start blending your own gin recipe tailored to your taste preferences. Taste your blend and adjust your recipe under the guidance of our distillers.
Learn about the fascinating history of gin, from its origins to its modern-day popularity. We will also introduce our own gins, and you will enjoy a gin tasting session.
Once you have created “your gin” tailored to your taste preferences, you will be able to take home a 500ml bottle with you for you and your friends to enjoy.
Enjoy a G&T and savour a regional produce platter.
Engage with our distillers, ask questions, and gain further insights into the world of gin.
