Located in the capital city of Victoria on Mahé Island, the Seychelles National Botanical Gardens is a lush and verdant oasis that has stood for over a century. Spanning 15 acres, the gardens are home to a wide range of endemic and exotic plants, including a diverse collection of palm trees, spice plants, fruit trees, and an orchid house boasting a variety of stunning orchids. In addition to the flora, the gardens also house giant Aldabra tortoises adding to the charm of this natural haven. Walking trails meander provides visitors with a peaceful escape from the bustling city. The gardens also host educational tours, promoting environmental awareness and the importance of plant conservation. The waterfall is a must-visit attraction that is located in Port Glaud and runs on the Rivière L’Isletta on the west coast of Mahe Island, Seychelles. Some of the purest water flow on the rocks forming a pool of water below that is mostly enjoyed by swimming. The waterfall is easy to reach via a short 5-minute nature trail walk starting in the village of Port Glaud.
