Overview
Would you like to try an authentic Dal-Bhat, a traditional Nepali meal? Join this 3-hour fun-filled activity where you can learn how to prepare this local Nepalese cooking meal. Learn some Nepali words and phrases at the same time!

What To Expect
In the morning, your expert tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kathmandu and take you to the local market for to purchase food items needed for your Nepali special(Dal-Bhat) lunch. Afterwards, drive to your host family and the housewife will teach you how to make a special Nepali Dal-Bhat. You will be taught how to cook rice, lentil, curry and pickle. The class will last for approximately 1.5 hours. As soon as the food gets prepared, the host family will teach you how to serve and decorate your plate. Finally, feast in your delicious Nepali lunch. Rest for about 10 minutes and you will be transferred back to your hotel in Kathmandu.
Itinerary:
8:30am: Pick-up from hotel
9:15am: Drive to host family and prepare for the cooking class.
9:30am: Host family will teach you how to prepare the special Nepali dalbhat
11:00am: Enjoy your lunch
11:30am: Transfer back to hotel
