Uspenskin Cathedral (Uspenskin Katedraali)

Located on a hill above the Helsinki harbor, red brick Uspensky cathedral can be seen from far away. It's the largest Orthodox Church of Northern Europe, built in 1868 by one of most prominent Russian specialists. The style of the cathedral is a tribute to the Russian Revival period when the best of the old times architectural ideas were used to create the magnificent constructions.

Helsinki City Hall (Kaupungintalo)

Helsinki City Hall is a central administrative building of Helsinki, Finland. City Hall is located in the Kruununhaka district, overlooking Market Square, at address Pohjoisesplanadi 11–13. City Hall is the seat of the City Council of Helsinki.

Finlandia - Talo

The Finlandia Hall is a congress and event venue in the centre of Helsinki on the Töölönlahti Bay. The building, which was designed by architect Alvar Aalto, was completed in 1971. Every detail in the building is designed by Aalto. The designs were completed in 1962, with building taking place between 1967–1971. The Congress Wing was designed in 1970 and built in 1973–1975. In 2011, the building was expanded with new exhibition and meeting facilities.

Finnish National Opera (Suomen Kansallisooppera)

Opera and ballet are quite young in Finland, as both companies were formed in the beginning of the 20th century only. The Opera house was opened in 1993 and since than became home to both. The theater promotes the national art, National Opera stages four to six premieres a year, including a world premiere of at least one Finnish opera.

The Parliament House is the seat of the Parliament of Finland. It is located in the Finnish capital Helsinki, in the district of Töölö.

Olympic Stadium (Olympiastadion)

The stadium was the main arena for the 1952 Olympic Games. The construction of the stadium was completed in 1938. Since then it has been frequently used for the local, European and world athletic competitions as well as music concerts. The height of the tower 72.71 meters (238.5 ft) celebrates the world record of Finnish athlete Matti Järvinen in javelin throw of 1932 Summer Olympics.

Temppeliaukio Church

Temppeliaukio Church aka ‘the Rock Church’ is an incredible building in Helsinki, Finland. It was designed by brothers Timo and Tuomo Suomalainen and was consecrated in 1969. The Lutheran Church is one of Helsinki’s most popular tourist attractions with over 500,000 annual visitors. After a 30-minute walk through the center of Helsinki, you will go to the main port of the city.
