Talat Noi
Our half day 'Heritage & Street Art Walking Tour' is perfect for those who prefer to stray away from the masses and explore another side of Bangkok! The historic neighborhoods of Charoen Krung and Talad Noi are rich in historical and cultural heritage. Charoen Krung Road was the first paved road in the Thai capital, built more than 150 years ago, to serve the fast-growing community of foreigners who settled on the bank of the Chao Phraya River. It was built so that foreign diplomats and foreign traders were able to easily visit the King and the government offices. Talad Noi (meaning ‘small market’) is part of Chinatown and one of Bangkok’s longest surviving traditional communities. This lovely community is home to some hidden gems and houses dating back more than 100 years. During our walking tour along shophouses, ancient buildings, and luxury hotels, between temples, churches and mosques you can still breathe in the trace of its heydays.
