What To Expect
Put on your apron, grab your rolling pin & your Gyoza mat, and get ready to create delectable edibles! You will be guided through each step of the Gyoza-making process, practicing the necessary & important techniques:
• kneading the dough by hand
• cutting the dough into balls of the appropriate size
• rolling & pressing the dough balls to the optimum thickness & shape
• folding the flattened dough around the meaty filling
• pressing the edges of the dough to properly seal the dumplings for boiling & frying
Learn insider tips and tricks to achieve the perfect Gyoza texture (important!) and flavor. Compete in a friendly Gyoza-making contest — after practicing a couple of times, show off your newly acquired skills as you do your best to perfectly shape & prepare your creations. Then grab your pot & pan & portable gas cooker — it's time to boil & fry them up!
The lesson's complete! All that remains is to sit down & savor the fruits of your labor.
Indulge in a Gyoza feast, and enjoy dipping them in the sauce that so complements the flavors of your handmade dumplings. Wash them down with drinks from the bar.
