Due to recent cyclone damage - Trains are running on limited days and possible seats are limited as well, We may swap with coach instead. Please wait outside your accommodation at least 5-10 minutes before pick up. December 2023 Skyrail Rainforest Cableway will be closed on Christmas Day 25th December 2024. May 2024 Skyrail Rainforest Cableway will be closed for programmed maintenance works from: Monday 6th – Sunday 19th May (Inclusive) Please note the dates as above and if you still want to do this tour during these dates then we may have arrange an alternate route- We shall advise you. Kuranda Scenic Railway Closures : Kuranda Scenic Railway does not operate on Christmas Day 25-12-2024, The planned maintenance dates have been selected to minimise the impacts on customers. Please take note of these dates when making a booking.
What To Expect
Kuranda
0845-0900 am Pick up from the Cairns CBD hotels/Backpackers 0910-30 am at Checkin at Cairns Railway Station (Gold Class) and tour briefing. 0955 am Train departs to Kuranda. 11.25 am Arrival at Kuranda Station. 11.30 am Take the free shuttle from Kuranda Station to the Village Centre/Butterfly Sanctuary. 11.30am Visit Koala Gardens, Birdworld, Butterfly Sanctuary (Please visit Koala Gardens first to exchange the voucher for the other 2 parks) Free and Easy (Follow the information guide for what you can see in Kuranda) 12.45pm Lunch at Frogs Restaurant 2.15 pm Check in at Skyrail station. *3.45 pm Pick up from Skyrail Smithfield Station. *4.15 pm drop off at your Cairns City Accommodation. *This time may change on the day of operations/Flexibility is requested, This schedule is only a guide.

- Due to recent cyclone damage to Cairns, The trains are operating only certain days and seats are limited, Hence one way shall be either by coach or both ways return Skyrail, Please accept this condition. Thank you.
