This is a high quality kimono rental shop recommended for walking around Uji, Kyoto. Conveniently located 1 minute walk from JR Uji Station from Kyoto Station. Wear a kimono and enjoy the nearby Byodo-in Temple, Uji Bridge, Uji's matcha tea and temples. Kimono, obi, purse, sandals, etc. are all provided, so you don't need to prepare anything. If you exit from the south exit (east side) of JR Uji Station and proceed to the left, you will find Family Mart. Climb the stairs on the right side of the building and find it at the front door on the 3rd floor.
End Point
This activity ends back at the meeting point.
What To Expect
This is where you enter the main entrance on the third floor of the building.
This plan is recommended for families, couples, and groups of friends.
Wear a kimono with the design and color you like from among the many kimonos available, and enjoy the area around Uji.
We have many types available for both women and men.
Women can also wear their hair in an updo and add hair ornaments.
There are many tourist attractions such as the famous tea shop (Nakamura Tokichiro and Ito Kuemon) right next to the store, the world heritage site Byodoin Phoenix Hall, Uji Shrine, Uji Bridge, and the prefectural shrine.
You can also wear a kimono and take commemorative photos at famous tourist spots.
