We will take a walk through the city while we talk about the people of La Paz, the sociocultural context, the Aymara culture, customs and the process of consolidation of the chola (women in skirts) as a symbol of identity. We will move to the Las Velas food space, where the cholas prepare anticuchos (beef heart grill) until dawn. Then we will use private transportation to continue by Teleférico (cable car) to the city of El Alto, where we will try a typical linaza drink (boiled infusion of linseed seeds). Once again we will go by cable car to a quieter neighborhood (Sopocachi) and walk to one of the best viewpoints in La Paz, where we will drink El Inca bicervecina (national drink made from barley), we will toast with the Pachamama (traditional ritual of respect to this Andean deity), we will take photographs with the landscape of the La Paz night and we will have a talk on national literature and we will listen to a sample of Bolivian music

We will take a walk through the streets and chaos of the city of La Paz and make a stop at "Las Velas", a market that has more than forty years of tradition. It is the food market that all La Paz residents have passed through at least once. "Las Velas" is a historical place, in its stores, the cooks have fed soccer players, businessmen, renowned national artists and former presidents, among many others. Its architecture, its design and its organization express the La Paz identity. Here, travelers will try a delicious dish typical of Bolivian gastronomy: Anticucho.

We will visit El Monticulo, a splendid viewpoint about which the La Paz poet Jaime Saenz wrote: "El Monticulo, with all its charm and tradition, is the hallmark of the Sopocachi area. And curiously, the topography of the city is reproduced here, in small of course, with a fidelity that surprises and disconcerts" (1980) In El Monticulo travelers will have a magical night session to enjoy the art (music and literature) of La Paz
