Overview
Get out of the tourist areas that are too expensive and crowded!
This tour focuses on Ueno, which is less crowded and less touristy than Shibuya and Shinjuku. It is also famous among Japanese foodies for its high quality and reasonable prices. Our staff will take you to popular bars and restaurants for locals (no tourists!!) who only speak Japanese. We order signature dishes and discuss food and drinks.
Visit a restaurant or izakaya and sample sashimi, grilled fish, skewered meat, etc. You can also try unique Japanese alcoholic drinks and experience the atmosphere of a Japanese izakaya. After visiting an izakaya, you'll end your tour at a great ramen restaurant that's popular with locals. At the end of the tour, we will explain which stations you need to go to, depending on your destination.
You'll be eating full-size meals all day long at several different restaurants, including ramen, so you'll be hungry!

We will meet in front of Starbucks at Atre Ueno (next to the station entrance)

We'll walk through Ameyoko Shopping Street and go to two izakayas. At the third stop, we'll have some delicious ramen.
