They stop in front of the equestrian statue of Francisco Pizarro, remembering his controversial legacy. They observe the noble shields carved on the facades, imagining the lives of the families who lived in these houses. In the center of the square, under the watchful eye of the statue of Francisco Pizarro, the guide tells the history of the city. From its Roman origins to its time of splendor during the conquest of America, Trujillo has witnessed centuries of history.
