Overview
Embark on a fantastic excursion aboard an elegant boat, accompanied by a host who will guide you throughout the journey, taking you to discover the Venetian Lagoon and its most beautiful islands: Murano and Burano.
After leaving Piazza San Marco behind, you will continue your journey towards the northern part of the Venetian Lagoon, reaching the first stop of the day, Murano. Known since the 1200s for its refined glassmaking craftsmanship, you'll not only visit the town but also witness a glassmaking demonstration where master glassmakers will create vases, glasses, and many other beautiful shapes right before your eyes, showcasing Murano's traditional art.
Once the visit to Murano is complete, we will head to Burano, famous for its colorful fishermen's houses, which, according to legend, were painted in bright colors so they could be recognized in the thick winter fog.

What To Expect
Murano
Murano Island is renowned for its long-standing glassmaking tradition. Ferries arrive filled with curious visitors eager to explore the Museo del Vetro, which chronicles the history of glass over the centuries, and to purchase local handcrafted souvenirs. Built in the Romanesque style, the Church of Santa Maria and San Donato features a colorful mosaic floor and is said to house the bones of a slain dragon.

Burano
Burano is situated in the Venetian Lagoon, and like its neighbor seven kilometers to the south, Venice, it is actually a community made up of several small islands connected by bridges. Located near Torcello at the northern end of the lagoon, Burano is renowned for its glass and lacework.
