This guided experience, unique in Rome, provides an overview of the main expressions of Italy's immense olive-growing heritage. Italy ranks first in the world for olive biodiversity with more than 500 cultivars (cultivated varieties) of olives.
Learn about Extra Virgin Olive Oil which is an important quality food, offering many beneficial effects on our health. In addition, the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) declared that extra virgin olive oil is a true medicinal food product. The antioxidant activity prevents cardiovascular and neurologic diseases, fights free radicals and inflammation, and is an effective anti-aging.
