Overview
Fuji Bike Tour's guide leads you in exploring the shores of the scenic lakes in Mt Fuji's foothills where spectacular views of the mountain await.
Bike through picturesque countryside, past cherry and maple trees and fields of flowers. Stops include an ancient village of thatched-roof houses where local artisans display traditional crafts.
People of any fitness level can participate. We bike at your pace on mostly-flat, paved roads.
A support car and driver will accompany us so if you get tired or want to skip a hill, you can ride in the car. Your bike will also be transported so you can resume cycling when you wish.
The guide is a native English speaker who rides a bike at the head of the tour group. He is knowledgeable about Japan and the local area and will share fascinating info and insights.
We can provide bikes for adults and children 120 cm to 210 cm tall. This tour is not designed to be suitable for children under age 12.

Saiko Lake
Bike around a quiet lakeshore in the countryside, past plum and cherry trees, enjoying flower viewing in spring. Stops include a beach with an excellent view of Mt Fuji where the iconic mountain is often reflected on the surface of the waters, creating a breathtaking "double Fuji" image. You'll also cycle past maple trees, viewing colorful leaves in fall.

Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nemba
Explore a restored ancient village where artisans display elaborate hand-made crafts in traditional Japanese thatched-roof farmhouses. Among the crafts typically exhibited are pottery, indigo-dyed textiles, silk items, wood carvings and paintings. The village is an excellent place to view Mount Fuji foregrounded by cherry trees that are decked with bright pink blossoms in spring.
