What To Expect
First stop is in Tepelena castle a historic fortress that stands as a testament to the region's rich past and strategic significance. Perched atop a hill overlooking the Vjosa River valley, the castle offers panoramic views and a glimpse into Albania's cultural heritage.
Near Tepelena Castle, the iconic Ali Pasha Bridge, a marvel of Ottoman engineering and a symbol of Ali Pasha's influence in the region during the 18th and 19th centuries.
A brief stop to take some pictures of the old Ali Pasha acueduct.
Next is The Waterfalls of Peshtura are a series of natural cascades known for their scenic beauty and tranquil surroundings. Situated amidst lush greenery and rugged terrain, these waterfalls offer a refreshing escape into nature. The road is a brief hiking trail through a canyon so bring your shoes and a bathing suit to visit this marvellous place.
The tour concludes in Nivica. A beautiful village on top of a canyon, with marvellous viewpoints and a lunch with a view you’ll never forget.( lunch at your own expense )
