This one is our top half-day tour you need to experience if you are staying on Šolta or wondering what to do when you get to Šolta from Split. Our favorite trait of this experience is that it’s a slow tour and very authentic: We offer a laid-back detour while you see, feel and taste some of the best things that Šolta has to offer.
A private guide is by your side all the way: During your one-hour-visit of a hundreds-of-years old olive grove and in the factory, where you learn about the process from harvest to the final product and experience how to taste olive oil. The delicacies in the lunch courses are paired with different varieties of olive oil. But before lunch we take you for a leisurely stroll around the village of Gornje Selo so you can experience the heritage of the rural architecture and listen to stories about the lives of the locals.
Our final stop is the beautiful Maslinica bay in the far west of Šolta, a place to dive into the sea or just have a coffee on the promenade.

Meet the host at the Rogač ferry port and drive by van to the olive grove on the eastern part of the island. Visit centuries-old olive groves and learn all about the olive tree, varieties, and the importance of olives in the life of the island's inhabitants.

Explore Gornje Selo with a local guide who will tell you about the island's history and traditions.

See the olive mill , learn how the olives are pressed, and how to get award-vining olive oil. Your host will teach you how to taste and recognize real extra virgin olive oil and what is important for quality of olive oil. Immerse yourself in the flavors of naturally flavored olive oils. Enjoy lunch with wine and pairing of different oils with dishes.
