What To Expect
Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu
We will start the day of the excursion, very early in the morning, with the transfer from the hotel in Cusco to the train station in Poroy. Then we board the train to go to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo). Embark on a scenic train ride that follows the course of the Urubamba River, offering spectacular views of mountains, rivers and the lush Andean jungle. Comfortable cabins and on-board service ensure a relaxing and enjoyable journey. Arriving in the picturesque town of Aguas Calientes, the hustle and bustle and energy envelop you. Here, you will board the bus that will take you to the entrance of Machu Picchu, the journey along the winding road heightens the anticipation.

Once in Machu Picchu, we will meet with the group to start the guided tour. With an expert guide, you will discover the secrets and fascinating history of this Inca citadel. You can meditate on the energy of the site, take additional photos or simply absorb the majesty of the ruins and surrounding landscape. After the tour, we will return by bus to Aguas Calientes where we will have free time for lunch. We recommend enjoying one of the most medicinal hot springs in Peru during your free time, the establishment offers towels and bathing clothes for sale or rent.
