No trip to Sydney is complete without witnessing a live performance in its most famous and Iconic building the Sydney Opera House.
The 2024 season includes legendary operas by Mozart and Puccini performed live with the Opera Australia Orchestra, including La Traviata, The Magic Flute, Orpheus & Euridyce, Idomeneo, and Theodora in Concert.
Before the performance or at interval, enjoy drinks within the Sydney Opera House Northern or Southern Foyer Bar, where you can admire stunning views across Sydney Harbour - drinks can be purchased on the night and are not included in the performance ticket price.

What To Expect
Sydney Opera House
Includes a Performance ticket to an Opera performed Live at the Sydney Opera House. Opera Australia's 2022 Season includes performances of La Boheme, Turandot, Otello, Law Juive, Attila, La Traviata, Madama Butterfly and others. Opera Australia's 2023 Season includes performances of Don Giovanni, La Bohème, Adriana Lecouvreur, Rigoletto, Aida, The Tales of Hoffman. Performance times vary from 2.5 - 4 hours dependent on Opera Performance selected.

- Please ask staff for assistance with receivers which are available from the Concert Hall and Opera Theatre cloak rooms and in the Drama Theatre, Playhouse and The Studio foyers.
- Dogs or any animals trained to assist people with disabilities are welcome inside all theatres and restaurants.
- A number of spaces are available for wheelchairs in each theatre at the Sydney Opera House. Wheelchairs are available from the Stage Door for use by patrons free of charge. Wheelchair access is by ramp from the southern entrance of the Concourse. Undercover wheelchair access is available from Stage Door and the Sydney Opera House Car Park. It is essential that you specify any needs when proceeding with your booking.
- Performances run on specific dates and times. These dates are provided and times will vary depending on the date selected.
- All performances have full English subtitles projected on a screen above the stage.
- Masks required for patrons aged 12 and over inside our foyers and theatres, including during a performance.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
