What To Expect

Mount Batur

Our English speaking driver will pick you up at your hotel lobby approximately at 12:30 PM, and journey to the village of Serongga on Mt. Batur. Hike for approximately 1.5 hours, depending on the number of hikers and their physical condition. Then, set up your tents when you reach an altitude of 1,500 meters above sea level. At approximately 06:00 PM, hike for about 15 minutes to the summit of Mt. Batur, and watch a majestic sunset at the top of the volcano. Enjoy a simple meal (typically banana cooked using the steam of the volcano) along with hot Balinese coffee and tea. Then, return to camp to cook dinner and make a campfire to sit around. Toast the end of the day and make a wish for clear skies to see the moon and the stars and enjoy a magnificent sunrise the following day.

Wake up early morning to welcome the breath taking sunrise. Our guide will pack up all the camping equipment. Get simple breakfast (banana sandwiches, eggs, biscuit and hot drink) while watching panoramic sunrise view. After some time we will walk through the entire crater. On a clear day you can easily see Agung volcano just in front of you and Mt. Rinjani on the neighboring island of Lombok. Releasing your tight muscle by swimming in the natural hot spring with lake and hilly view (depending on the option)
