Speyside is the most famous of Scotland’s whisky regions. This breath-taking region sits in a lush valley of rivers and secret glens. The region has historically been the warmest part of Scotland, and the fertile farmlands in the region are perfect for growing barley. Added to the nutrient-dense water tumbling down off the mountains, this region delivers many of the world’s best whiskies.
Our Speyside whisky tours take you through the Cairngorm National Park and return through the beautiful town of Pitlochry.

Distillery tour and tasting. Dalwhinnie Distillery, located in the Cairngorm National Park at the heart of the Scottish Highlands, is a must-visit destination for whisky enthusiasts. The distillery offers a guided tour of the facility, which lasts approximately 45 minutes to an hour. During this time, visitors can explore the production area with an expert guide and learn about how Dalwhinnie whiskies are made and how and why they differ from their competitors. The tour concludes with a tutored tasting of three Dalwhinnie Single Malts, individually paired with handmade Scottish highland chocolates, plus a gift. The distillery’s unique high location and iconic malt make it a popular destination for tourists. The Dalwhinnie Tour is highly recommended, and advanced booking is required to avoid disappointment.

Established in 1967, the story truly began in 2017 when the distillery was acquired from Pernod Ricard by industry legend Billy Walker and his two partners; Trisha Savage and Graham Stevenson. 100% Scottish owned and managed, GlenAllachie Distillery are one of the few truly independent Scotch whisky companies.
