Jvari Church

We will start from Tbilisi at 9 am, taking a road to Mtskheta, where we will be visiting Jvary Monastery- a 6th-century church included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. It offers amazing views of the ancient Georgian capital city Mtskheta and the confluence of two rivers. We will be spending around 20 minutes up here, admiring majestic views and taking some beautiful pictures.

On our way to the high mountains, we will visit an absolutely beautiful fortress and church, with a fantastic view over the Zhinvali reservoir and a huge historical background. The castle itself was the scene of numerous famous battles, and we will learn a little bit more about it during our short visit. Pictures all the way!

Gudauri

Just before Kazbegi Valley, we will be passing by the biggest ski resort in the Georgian Caucasus - Gauri. It's a great place to visit any season. We will stop by a road café to have some coffee with snacks, and will continue our road to the next stop!

Russian Georgian Friendship Monument

Beautiful monument of the so-called friendship between Georgia and Russia. The panoramic views are incredible and we will be taking a lot of beautiful pictures!

Stepantsminda

The famous Georgian Military Road will lead us to Stepantsminda (also called "Kazbeqi") a beautiful mountain town at the foot of Mt Kazbeg (> 5000 m). This is where we will check in to our hotel, have lunch, and go for the next adventure!

Gergeti Trinity Church

We will hike to an absolutely amazing, picturesque, and full-of-history 14th-century church, nestled at the altitude of 2200 m above sea level. It's an absolute must-see on any Georgian adventure. Instead of hiking, an option of renting an off-road car is available. After the hike, you will be back to your hotel, where you can relax at SPA facing Mt Kazbek and dreaming about your next adventure.

Juta Valley

After an amazing breakfast at Rooms Hotel, we will be going to Juta - the highest settlement in Europe located at an altitude of 2200 m. There the magical track to the Georgian Dolomites - Chaukhi - is waiting for us! The hike is not hard, the views around are amazing and I will be taking tons of pictures so this day will stay in memory for a long time. It will take us 4-5 hours, on the way back we will have lunch at one of the traditional Georgian restaurants and get back to Tbilisi.
