Our city tour takes you through Constance in an entertaining and lively, funny and exciting, but still informative way. We open your eyes to the secrets and treasures of the beautiful medieval council town and introduce you to personalities who have been up and about here.
We have been on thousands of city tours in Konstanz for over 20 years, know every corner and know countless anecdotes.
Children from 4 years of age and young people experience the medieval council town in an age-appropriate manner. Seniors are very welcome, especially we offer older guests seating to take a leisurely tour of the city.
There is unrestricted access for wheelchair users and strollers everywhere, for the visually impaired we design our city tour according to their needs.
Please note that the city tours in the old town of Constance can only be carried out on foot.

What To Expect
Constance Harbour
Our humorous, but nevertheless very informative city tour, during which you get to know the past and the present of the historic Lake Constance metropolis, begins at the harbor in Constance. Our city guides will introduce you to the courtesan Imperia and tell you what happened during the world event of the council, which took place from 1414-1418. We continue through the picturesque center of the old town of Constance, past imposing buildings and neat town houses, which often look back on almost 1000 years of building history. During a short tour through the Konstanz Minster, the former bishop's church, you will learn a lot of history (s) from the Konstanz past from our city guides. Our tour ends after around 2 hours at the Marktstätte in Constance. The square is located in the heart of the old town and invites you to relax in a cozy café, have a snack or stroll through the many original boutiques.

Here on the corner of Hohenhausgasse and Oberer Fischmarkt is the "Hohe Haus". It dates back to 1194 - supposedly it was built from top to bottom back then ... Look forward to the stories related to this house!

Old Town (Niederburg)
In the oldest part of Constance, the Niederburg, medieval stone houses, benefice houses of wealthy canons and impressive administrative buildings from the baroque era still dominate. As you walk through the narrow old streets and with the anecdotes of our city guides, you will see a vivid picture of a very well-preserved medieval city.

In the heart of the council city of Constance is the Kaiserbrunnen, named after the numerous kings and emperors who have made a stop in Constance over the course of history. Rosgartenmuseum Konstanz
The Rosgarten Museum in Konstanz offers an important collection of relics from the city's past.
