Overview
On this comprehensive full-day tour, venture out of Guilin to see the Longji Rice Terraces, Huangluo Yao Village, and Ping'an Village to gain insight into the lives of the Yao and Zhuang nationalities.Walk around the village, trek to the most beautiful rice terrace views, and learn about this important site from your guide.

Guilin
Your friendly tour guide and driver will pick you up at 8:00 a.m. or 8:30 a.m. from your Guilin hotel, Guilin Railway Station, or Guilin Airport and head to the Longji Rice Terraces. It is approximately 2 hours drive from Guilin.

Dragon's Backbone Rice Terraces
First, you will visit the Huang Luo Yao Long Hair Village, the famous "World’s Longest Hair Village". It is the best place to see Chinese ladies in traditional ethnic red costumes with super long hair reaching 1.8 meters. After a 30-minute stroll in the village, you will enjoy a Long Hair Show. In the performance, you can see the local women let their long hairs down to touch the ground.

Ping'an Village
After the performance, drive about 20 minutes to Ping'an Village, inhabited by people of Zhuang nationality. Upon arrival, you will trek for about half an hour from the parking lot to No. 2 viewpoint, where you can see the rice terraces view called "Seven Stars around the Moon" and Ping'an village with wooden houses. After a tasty local lunch, continue hiking to the No. 1 viewpoint, named "Nice Dragons and Five Tigers". It is the best place to enjoy the beautiful view of the rice terraces in Ping'an village. Afterwards, you will take the shuttle bus back to the parking lot.
